About Me

01

Who I am

I'm Guada. An Argentine who, after a long journey, made it happen: I moved to Barcelona and fulfilled a dream. A mother, a fan of her family, a runner, curious, a friend to many, and also someone who deeply needs and values her own space.

For more than 15 years I've been accompanying processes of change from Human Resources, working with people, teams and organizations. And along the way I discovered other interests, pursuits and ways of doing things that, little by little, began to find their place.

I'm interested in people, in what moves us, what makes us uncomfortable, and everything we believe can't change. I like learning, teaching, creating projects, exploring ideas and asking myself questions. For a long time, I struggled to find what connected things that seemed to go down different paths.

Today I feel there's something that ties them together: my curiosity about people and about everything that can happen when we dare to look at things differently.

This is the story behind that perspective.

The people behind change

In organizations, change is never only about teams, structures or ways of working in the abstract. It involves people who are trying to understand what is happening, adapting to new ways of doing things and finding their place in a changing reality.

From Human Resources, part of my role was to accompany people through that process: helping them understand why the change mattered, find their way to get on board, and move through what that change meant for each of them.

Because the context can change fast, but we people have our own timing and processes.

What interested me most went beyond organizational change itself. I was always interested in the people themselves: their decisions, their emotions, their possibilities for growth, their resistance and everything at stake when something needs to transform.

Something that wasn't in my plans

With a father who studied Education and a mother who is an educational psychologist, I always grew up convinced that my path would be very different. Mine was the “corporate world” and, for a long time, I believed my place was inside it.

But life always has twists we never imagine. My first step into my teaching side was tutoring students in my last years of school, although at the time I thought it was a one-off. Later, I taught at the university where I studied; then came the workshops, the training programs and even the opportunity to design and build from scratch a learning-focused area inside a large company.

Along the way I discovered that what moves me is not so much teaching what I know, but sharing what sparks my curiosity, what I'm passionate about, what lights me up and makes me think. I'm drawn to opening questions, organizing ideas, sharing perspectives and accompanying others while they find their own.

I think there's also something of that in the way I accompany processes. More than sharing answers, I try to put questions, perspectives and reflections on the table that help look at something in a different way and discover new possibilities.

One person, different contexts

I've always felt a certain tension thinking about work and life as completely separate, as if there were one "me" who works and another who lives. I believe we're the same person moving through different contexts. In each one, different parts of us come into play, different ways of relating and reacting to different stimuli appear — but that doesn't make us different people. That's why I believe change should also be thought of this way: as something integral.

The body is part of the experience too

For me, moving has always been much more than exercise. It's a way to feel good, to connect with myself, to sort out what I'm going through and, many times, to get through difficult moments. Physical movement has something deeply therapeutic and transformative about it: I never start and finish an activity feeling the same way. I've never regretted moving. I always come out better than I started.

After so many years of training and looking for different ways to take care of my body, I'm increasingly interested in exploring how much more connected physical movement and internal movement are than we usually think. For me, the body isn't separate from what we think, feel and live. Often, it even senses things before we can put them into words.

That's why physical movement is a dimension I want to keep exploring and integrating into my perspective. There's something I'm increasingly clear about: physical wellbeing and internal wellbeing don't feel like two separate pursuits to me.
